Description : Labitolosa is a Roman city located on the Calvario hill , in the Spanish town of La Puebla de Castro ( Huesca , Spain ), next to the Ésera River . His active life developed between the 1st century BC. C. and end of the second century d. C. , moment in which it was abandoned. It does not appear in the known Roman literary sources, not even in the text of Pliny's Naturalis Historia in which the main cities of the Caesaraugustano legal convent are named. Until the beginning of the excavations, only a Latin inscription discovered in the 16th century and collected in CIL 2 gave notice of its existence by referring to some Labitolosani cives ( Labitolosan citizens).
