Description : Novioregum was a Gallo-Roman town belonging to the Civitas Santonum , the city of Santons . It peaked in the ii th century AD. BC, but from the iv th century or v th century , the city was deserted and we permanently lost track of him. Its location gave rise to many hypotheses, however the site of Fâ , in Barzan , in Charente-Maritime , is today privileged.
